Seeking Help For Uriel's Mental Illness

This is Uriel. My younger brother who was arrested by the cops, and taken to jail by a phone call made by our Mom who embellished the details to paint her as a victim. She made the choice instead of helping him, and chose to be rid of him. I have always known him to be a caring person full of positivity with such a huge heart, an innocence that equals a child who knows only love. The long time spent with our mother has destroyed that. He was released Aug. 30th and to make things more challenging for him our Mom has placed a Restraining Order against him for a year claiming him to be violent which he was not. Since his release I've been paying for his housing and by day two of interacting with him it became clear that he was in need of Professional Help. I've spoken to our Mom after the incident and she's admitted there were warning signs of his Mental Decline but instead chose to ignore them and give him money for Cannabis, Alcohol, and whatever he asked for rather than seek help for my Brother. She's supported him all 27 years of his life. Never nurtured him into an independent person, and remained negligent until his breaking point. My mom left him to the streets and this is Washington State. A place full of Fentanyl addicts. I don't have the resources of funds to help him properly as I struggle myself. The sole purpose of this Gofund me is to find the help my brother needs. To give me the time I need off work to take him to all necessary appointments, and a small peace of mind that I could hopefully handle any unforeseen incidents that could arise.
