During night shift on October 22, 2018 PO Ryan Faehr of the Amberley Village Police Department caught a severely emaciated dog running loose through French Park. The dog, dubbed Chance by Village employees, was fortunate an animal lover like PO Faehr was determined to help him.
After catching Chance and getting a better look at him, numerous sores and injuries were found scattered about his already gaunt frame. Luckily, Village K9 Creed has a fantastic vet who agreed to take Chance to her facility to immediately start rehabilitation. Dr. Argus and the wonderful staff at Deer Park Veterinary Hospital immediately stepped in to provide Chance with the care he desperately needs.
The road to recovery ahead of Chance is long and expensive. If you would like to donate towards the cost of care please feel free to do so and help spread the word. Simply sharing this page is a huge help and will give our new furry friend his much deserved second "Chance".
