 What is HER2? (Human Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor) an aggressive life threating form of breast cancer. It stimulates the growth of breast cancer cells and spreads it more quickly. About 20% of breast cancers patients are diagnosed with HER2 positive. Most patients receive a 2-year life expectances without treatment.

 She was originally diagnosed back in March 2015 with breast cancer and had a double mastectomy in April 2015.

 But since then we've been thrown an unexpected curve ball. In Feb 2017, she received news that the cancer has returned and traveled to her liver. The doctors have ran tests and the cancer hasn't traveled anywhere else in the body. 

 The good news: 
There is a treatment out there that we have found that would give my mom a 73-84% survival rate...
