Save Sam Strider
Donation protected
Hello, friends.
Sam Strider was stung by a bee on Tuesday, July 30th and went into anaphylactic shock. During this period, his blood pressure dropped drastically which caused damage to his cortex and other deep brain tissue. The neurologists believe the damage to be irreversible. Currently, he is comatose and being cared for in the neurological department at Mission Hospital.
Sam’s wishes were clear. In the event that his quality of life left him unable to be Sam, his family is to discontinue treatment. While Sammi respects his wishes, it has only been one week since this ordeal began. When Sammi is with him, she feels his presence and truly believes that he is fighting his way out. To that end, Sam will be moved into a nursing facility soon, which will give him time to heal and find his way through the fog.
While Sam is working hard to get back to us, we are raising money for Sam's care and all the expenses this is creating. Sammi is also trying to keep the farm going and is unable to work at this time. It is unclear what all the expenses will be, but they are mounting fast. Please donate to the Save Sam Strider GoFundMe.
An email is also set up-[email redacted] and a Facebook group Save Sam Strider to keep updated on Sam's condition.
