Save Nausicaa’s life

my name is Leia, and I’m looking for help I never thought I would’ve needed. My kitten nausicaa has fluid in her lungs and needs tests done and fluids along with hospitalization which we just don’t have the money for. I’m trying to use all the resources I have. We took her to the vet thinking it would only be a small issue, she was breathing very hard and stopped eating. We now know she’s in critical condition and in need of care and all we have the money for are antibiotics for 5 days. I’m begging anyone and everyone, even $1 helps. I can’t lose my baby. I appreciate anyone and everyone who has even taken the time to read this. Thank you. I could use help now more than I ever have. 

Update!!: we now are going down a route that seems to be our only liable option, we were told our only option is to euthanize her or make her as comfortable as we can at home and we’ll continue giving her her medication, but we’re now getting a new medicine we have done a ton of research to find that has shown to be almost 80% effective in FIP which she was just diagnosed with as of yesterday 08/20/21 (wet version), the expected costs for this 84 day treatment is $3,800. We are also giving her a mixture of vitamins 5 times a day to help with this process. Again thank you all so much for helping us on this journey to saving our baby’s life. 

Update! 08/23/21 she’s on day two of the medicine! As of today she’s shown an actual appetite, and drive to eat almost on her own. She’s walking more, purring more and is much more aware of everything! We’re so beyond hopeful and proud of how strong willed she is. With this money we’re able to pay for her medicine and required supplements, we can’t thank you guys enough, you’ve helped us so much already on this journey. 

Update #3!! : Today is day 9 of treatment and she’s been gaining weight, still eating more as each day goes by, playing more, and being very sweet and just overall is getting so much healthier and happier. If it wasn’t for you guys, I’m not sure we would’ve ever been able to save her life, I’ll forever be grateful for you guys. This is an 84 day treatment, so it’s going to be a little while until we find out if she’s truly cured, but our hope is so strong, and so is Nausicaä. I’ll continue to post as many updates as I can on my TikTok (whatsupitsponyo) but since this is a long treatment it’s getting harder to make updates because it really is a day by day thing where she’s getting better and better, but it’s the same repetitive cycle of administering her medication everyday along with her antibiotics, I’ll more than likely just start posting videos of her throughout the weeks! This is such a huge learning experience when it comes to everything we’ve had to do, and all I can really say is everyday I just wake up almost in tears seeing her and how much better she’s getting.
