Save Delilah Love

It was 2019, Delilah was only 4 years old when she started complaining of leg pain and we noticed a limp. It got so bad one night, even mom rubbing her legs didn’t help. Ended up taking her to the ER around midnight when we realized she was in too much pain to sleep. Went in only to be told it was growing pains & be sent home. Back and fourth from hospital to hospital & her general pediatrician for 2 months. When they finally decided to do a blood test and tell me things just weren’t right and it may be Leukemia. This was a Friday, and her pediatrician had already set up meeting with an oncologist in Los Angeles for the following Tuesday. Well Delilah’s pain got so bad we couldn’t wait till Tuesday. On Sunday we rushed her to the urgent care in Los Angeles in hopes they’d admit her to see what was wrong. They did. 3 weeks of lots of tests and scans. They finally came in and Gave us the worst news of our lives yet. They asked us to sit down and proceeded to tell us our beautiful, strong, sweet 4 year old baby girl had stage 4 Neuroblastoma Cancer metastatic in 95% of the bone marrow and She’d have to fight for her life. She also had a genetic mutation called paroganglioma, her doctor described that as a double headed tumor. That disqualified Delilah from any clinical trials and meant her cancer was just that much more aggressive. Since then Delilah started by doing 4 months of chemo. Then went on to do 25 Rounds of a chemo & immunotherapy combined. One week a month for over 2 years strait. In between she did 10 days of full cranial and spinal radiation that has already stunted her growth. She has had her left iliac bone, left femur & right rib radiated within the last year. She’s also had 2 Rounds of MIBG radiation therapy, a procedure she can only have done 3 times in a lifetime. As she was going through 12 days of radiation to her right rib, in October it’s as if that tumor got angry and popped out. You could now feel a huge bump on her back and literally see the tumor through the shirt. It all happened to quickly. She was supposed to have been done after that radiation she was supposed to be in school and trying to get back to living her life after Cancer so selfishly tried to take it from her. But sadly she’s not done. After 4 years my girl is still fighting for her life, she’s still fighting to live. All she wants for Christmas is to be Cancer Free & able to be In school with her friends. She’s tired of the damn doctor, of the chemo making her feel so sick. She’s only 8 and has been through more than most have gone through or will ever go through in their entire life. We seriously need all the help we can get. We are constantly fundraising to make sure Delilah has what she needs to help get her to remission. We have medical bills from 2 years back just now popping up. Fighting cancer is no joke so Expensive. We live 2 hours from the hospital. We have no other choice but to go back and fourth. Los Angeles is way to expensive to live there, so we don’t have a choice but to drive. Gas is insane right now. Her scans showed disease progression which indicates cancer still spreading. I hate to even say that. This week Delilah gets admitted for not only more chemotherapy & immunotherapy but for radiation as well. They are also throwing a second immunotherapy at her. My baby girl is trying to make it home to Texas for Christmas, but her Doctor literally just told us today to push our trip back a week because we have to make sure Delilah’s body is ok to travel. Which I’m totally for, her health come 1st 100% it just sucks because cancer has taken so much away from us. I’m trying to do all I can for my baby, we started a few different supplements to try and help kill the cancer for good. We have also been looking into an Ionizer to make sure she can always have alkaline water, also I’ve been looking into a hyperbaric chamber & a holistic doctor that’ll take children. Please help us Save Delilah send up as many prayers as You can because Gods Listening. I never in a million years would have thought she’d still be fighting for her life 4 years after diagnosis. She’ll get admitted Friday for 6 days pray we make it to Texas for Christmas with the rest of our family where they’ll be waiting for us. Pray for no side effects and she’ll just swing right through this next round.Remember absolutely anything helps thank you. #delilahlovestrong -Love Sam (Delilah’s Mommy) In collaborate With Isaiah Garza
