My name is Felix Silva, and I’m the owner of Celestial Products USA LLC, the company behind Texas Lone Star Tamales. For years I’ve poured everything I have into this small business, from long nights and personal sacrifice to every dollar I could find, because I truly believed in what we were doing and the customers we served.

We managed to survive the COVID shutdowns, supply chain disasters, rising costs, and even a major financial freeze earlier this year. But just recently, our main production partner stopped fulfilling orders without notice. That left us unable to ship to our customers and put the future of the business at serious risk.

To avoid disappointing anyone while we work through this challenge, I’ve made the tough decision to temporarily pause online ordering. I’m doing everything I can to resolve the issue quickly, but I want to be upfront with our customers while we work toward a solution.

The funds raised through this campaign are meant to help us keep going, to restart production, continue operations, and catch up on critical obligations, including refunds to affected customers and wages for a few of our dedicated team members who have stood by us through everything. But more than that, this is about finding a long term solution so that we can keep this small business alive and continue sharing our tamales with families across the country.

My wife and I have been truly moved by the outpouring of support. Your kindness, encouragement, and generosity have brought us to tears more than once.
