Prayers and Help for Savannah Reaves and Family

My niece Savannah Brett Reaves was born on Monday 12/28/20. She was born with a Myelomeningocele which is the most serious type of Spina Bifida. She was transferred after birth straight to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta and had surgical repair on Tuesday morning. She is doing well after surgery, but she still has a long recovery ahead of her as well as future planned surgeries in the coming months. She doesn't have any hydrocephalus at this time, but they are still monitoring her closely in case she does develop it after surgery which can be a possible complication. We also found out on ultrasound that she also has left renal agenesis which means that she does not have a left kidney. As of right now her right kidney is working perfectly which is a huge blessing! Her Mommy (Leslie) and Daddy (Austin) are currently staying in Atlanta to stay near Savannah and her brother and sister are staying with family due to COVID-19 restrictions.  There are 2 big needs right now. The first being PRAYERS! This sweet girl and her family need all the prayers they can get for healing for Savannah and Leslie (she had a C-Section for the delivery Monday) and prayers that God will continue to keep and protect her every step of this journey as we can see He has so far. The second need is funds. Austin will not be able to work while Savannah is in the hospital and at this time we do not know when she will be discharged. With Austin being the sole source of income and being unable to work at this time, the mounting medical bills for her current treatments/care and the future care she is going to require, their normal ongoing bills and needs such as food and especially gas with the back and forth travel to CHOA that Savannah will need in the future, and with the big transition when Savannah is finally able to come home every little bit of monetary help would help make this life changing transition just a little easier and less stressful.
