Samantha’s fight against Ewing Sarcoma

Donation protected
As some of you may know, Samantha Leaney aged 22 was diagnosed on the 23rd February with Ewing Sarcoma which is a rare form of bone cancer.

The last couple of weeks Samantha has had intensive meetings with doctors and her oncology team to determine the best course of treatment for her.

Due to the location of the tumour in her right hip and pelvis operating and removing the tumour is not an option at this stage.

Samantha will undergo many rounds of chemotherapy and radiation treatments over the next 12 months at Peter Mac Cancer hospital.

While receiving treatment she will be unable to work as it is going to take such a toll on her both mentality and physically. In addition to Samantha being off work for extended periods her parents Genevieve and Trevor, brother James and partner Jamie will need to take some time off work to care for her and support her through the toughest year of her life.

Samantha is embarking on the fight of her life and I have set up this Go Fund Me page so that we can play our small part in easing the huge financial burden facing Samantha and her family.

Anything you are able to donate will help her to be able to focus on the challenges ahead of her and relieve the added financial stress.
