Salesi Toutai's Kidney Transplant
Donation protected
Salesi and his wife Cidney have been friends with our family for the last 10 years and have been a couple of the kindest and most selfless people we've ever met. On December 8th, 2015 Salesi was hospitalized and discovered that only 1 of his kidneys was functioning at just 2%. Miraculously he's survived - but it's been a long road. Salesi has done dialysis for 3 hours a day, 6 days a week for the last 4 years. In the process he's lost nearly 150 pounds to be eligible for a kidney transplant, but has stacked up thousands of dollars in medical bills. This Christmas though our prayers were answered when the Toutai's received a call on December 28th, 2019 at 4am saying that a match had finally been found for Salesi's transplant, and it was his if he could be at the hospital by 10am. The operation was successful and now we're trying to do everything we can to help lighten the financial burden their family has been carrying for the last few years. Please share his story and donate anything you can because anything helps.
