Build a water-well for Salma (Ongoing Charity)

Assalaamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh. I hope this reaches you all in the best of health and imaan. Recently, a beloved sister to many of us passed away after sometime dealing with illness. Her name was Salma El Shazley, she was a revert from Australia who migrated to Egypt and started a family there and she lived a wonderful life there until she returned to her Lord. She is survived by her husband, and their 4 children.

Salma was the type of person who always made you forget about your problems with her sweet and encouraging words. No matter what difficulty she was facing she did not complain, she constantly remembered Allah and would remind us all of His mercy. She loved to read the Quran with her fellow sisters and loved to learn more about her deen in order to be a better Muslim. She was a wonderful friend to those who knew her and was an even better mother to her children who are amazing reciters of the Quran. I'm sure that many of us can attest to the fact that she was a light for us during some of our tough moments.

This gofundme was created for the purpose of raising donations in order to build a well in sister Salma's name, so that it can be sadaqa jariya for our beloved sister in her akhirah. We can possibly fund more than 1 water-well depending on how much we raise.

The Prophet ﷺ said: “When the human being dies, his deeds end except for three: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for him.”
