At the beginning of 2016 Lisa was scheduled to have a bowel resection done on her large intestine due to diverticulitious. The surgery was performed and was successful, but three days later she had a hernia in the small intestine which required additional surgery. Then in May of the same year on mothers day she had a disection of her mesenteric artery which led them to have to put a Stent in that artery. Two days later the Stent migrated to her left leg where it happened to lodge itself in there. Subsequently that required additional surgery and another Stent to be put in. After all that was said and done we finally got on the long road to recovery or so we thought. Fast forward to present day and here we are back at the hospital only his time we are facing something much worse. About a week ago Lisa noticed her skin and eyes turned a shade of yellow and this caused her to become very worried so we decided to take her to the e.r. Once in the e.r the doctors were very concerned and started testing immidiatly. Once we got the results back the doctors had concluded that her pancreas contained a cancerous mass. The mass is blocking her bile duct which the pancreas uses to release bile into our stomach to break down food. Because the mass is creating a blockage the local doctors implanted a temporary Stent into the bile duct. We are being given a few options but our best bet is to head to Denver because there facilitys are more suited to her needs. This is something very shocking to say the least considering we assumed we were on the road to recovery. Right now Lisa and the Orr family need your help now more than ever. The traveling expenses and the procedures are going to be very hefty, as you can imagine we are all in a state of panic. At this time anything is going to help our situation.
