I am not a runner.

I have never run a half marathon in my life.

But this December, I am taking on a half marathon for a cause far bigger than myself, a cause I am deeply passionate about.

Until December 2025, I will be raising funds and awareness for the Alliance for Gambling Reform, an organisation doing incredible work with real, tangible outcomes.

The gambling industry in Australia is the world gambling cash cow.

Australians are both the biggest punters and, tragically, the biggest losers.

Too many lives, families, and futures are impacted by a largely unregulated industry, an industry that allows people to bet beyond their means, that profits while addiction destroys lives, and that retains proceeds of crime when vulnerable people steal to chase losses.

Through this run, I hope to contribute to meaningful change and support the Alliance in preventing further harm.
