Rudy is one of the dogs that FURRY RESCUE ITALY , a charity, rescue and help to find adoption.

Rudy was ready. After months of waiting at the shelter, he was finally about to join his family. He was happy, his eyes shining with hope: there was only one day left until his departure.

But life can sometimes be unfair.

The day before leaving the shelter, Rudy was suddenly attacked by a kennel mate he'd never had a problem with. In a matter of moments, his dream turned into a nightmare.

Rudy was hospitalized in serious condition.

He suffered a broken jaw and is covered in abrasions from the bites. The vetsdid everything they could to save him.

He had his first surgery to stitch up the mucosa of his mouth, to avoid infection and further complications.

And than last friday he had a second, very delicate operation with an orthopedic surgeon, it was fine thanks God.

The initial estimate is €2,000, but the vets have warned us that the figure could increase. Every extra day in the clinic, every dressing, every procedure… everything is extremely expensive.

Help us give Rudy back the life he was about to begin.
