Rosie's Garden: A community Treasure in Need
Donation protected
Rosie’s Garden, started in 2000 by Robles neighbors and friends, is a testament to what can be achieved when we come together with a shared vision. The transformation of the NW corner of Esquiline and De Los Helechos from an eyesore into the beautiful garden we have all enjoyed for 25 years is a source of pride and joy for everyone in our neighborhood.
Historically the operating costs of maintaining Rosie’s Garden have been covered by generous donations along with grants from the CV Garden Club. However, we regret to inform you that we have now run out of funds and are in urgent need of your help to continue this beautiful garden.
It is also time to give Rosie’s Garden a much-needed refurbishment. This includes planting new native, drought tolerant flora and upgrading our irrigation system to ensure that the garden remains a vibrant and thriving green space for all to enjoy. These changes will also help reduce the costs of watering the garden.
Since inception maintenance of the garden has been done by volunteers from the neighborhood and members of the CV Garden club. Volunteers will be needed to help with the refurbishment and to care and maintain the garden. Please let us know if you are interested in helping.
We are appealing to your generosity and community spirit to help us raise the necessary funds for these improvements and operating costs. Any contribution, no matter how much, will make a significant difference.
Tax-deductible donations can be made by check payable to Carmel Valley Garden Club and mailed to P.O Box 2371, CV, CA 93924
