Our family lost our brightest star on Saturday. Anyone who met Rose, remembers Rose for her generous heart, dedication to her family, love of KISS and Elvis, and a particularly intriguing fascination with Native American culture.
Mom/Granny/Great-Granny battled a long, wavering health battle over the last 18 years, beginning with Rheumatoid Arthritis that left her bed-ridden at age 60. She braved these ups and the downs for the soul purpose of us, her family--even if she was completely driven up a wall by our antics and drama. We can see the eye-roll now.
In lieu of flowers or mementos, we are asking for any donation you can spare to this memorial fund to finance the funeral costs and burial, managed by Sherry, her youngest daughter.
We will be holding a viewing at Keffer Funeral Home this Saturday (10/14) from 9AM to 10:30AM, followed by a memorial service from 10:30AM to 11:00AM before the processional to Mt. Rose Cemetary. We would love it if you could make it.
We will be closing this account on Nov. 4 when the funeral services account needs to be settled.
