The students of The Roots Academy are coming together this festive season to spread kindness, joy, and community spirit through a special Early Christmas Celebration and Sweet Treat Bake Sale!

Join us on the first floor of the Queens Square Building of Middlesbrough College for a day filled with festive fun and meaningful giving all in support of Maxi’s Mates, a local charity dedicated to rescuing and caring for dogs in need.

Our celebration will feature a range of heart-warming Christmas activities, including:

These activities reflect the traditions many of us cherish at this time of year — coming together, sharing joy, and giving back.

Not everyone has the opportunity to celebrate the festive season surrounded by others, and we wanted to create an event where everyone is welcome. By joining us, you’ll not only enjoy a wonderful day but also help raise vital funds and resources so Maxi’s Mates can continue their incredible work caring for dogs and improving their quality of life.

In addition to monetary donations, we are also collecting items to support the charity’s ongoing efforts. If you can, please bring along:
