Romeo and Zoe's Road to Recovery
Donation protected
Romeo and Zoe were just two of dozens of dogs rescued from a puppy farm by the RSPCA QLD. Every dog was seized with medical issues needing treatment however Romeo and Zoe were two who had very severe health issues. They have now been placed with Chihuahua Rescue Qld for ongoing rehabilitation and treatment.
Romeo the Pomeranian has: - luxating patellas and degenerative joint disease - cataracts causing complete blindness - corneal scarring of the left eye - dental disease.
Romeo is seeing an eye specialist as our vets are hoping that the cataracts in his right eye can be surgically corrected which will restore his vision in that eye. He is currently a very lost little dog who is locked in a world of darkness and very afraid.
