i am writing this after lots of thoughts and hesitation
But the urgency and need to rescue my family is greater than my resilience, and i am fundraising to help my family live a good life after losing everything.
Hello i am Mahmoud Salama, 27 years old, from palestine( Gaza) and yet I have spent my entire life immersed in relentless wars that know no mercy, wars that steal ambitions, dreams, and goals. I write today from Gaza, from the heart of a place that has witnessed so much pain and destruction. We are a Palestinian family Consists of (parents, 5 sisters and 5 brothers) that does not belong to war. We have lost everything to the merciless conflict after living wonderful and positive lives. We lost our home, and we lost our mini-market, which was our source of income and supported my family. We lost everything that could have been a means of livelihood, from our businesses to our personal belongings. Our children have lost their education and their right to care, and we have become refugees without shelter.
● This is how my house and the street I live on became in the north of the Gaza Strip, as the area was destroyed and is no longer known as it was before.

● There was a small mini-market beneath our home, a modest source of income for our family and a refuge for our dreams In an instant, everything vanished under the rubble of the war on Gaza The home and
the mini-market were reduced to painful memories, leaving us struggling to rebuild what the war had taken away Your support is our only hope to restore our lives.

We were sleeping on the street without shelter, and we could not find a single blanket to keep us warm. We did not find bread to satisfy our hunger. After that we received help and took refuge at my aunt's house.
I have lost many family members and friends. I lost part of my home, and my workplace was destroyed. I have so many dreams, I want to be safe!

● After a long story of displacement and escaping death many times, my family and I took refuge in a dilapidated tent that is not fit for living and is full of suffering, as it does not protect us from the cold of winter and the heat of summer, and we live with insects such as flies and mosquitoes that cause us many diseases that our children cannot bear.

● The most important thing that threatens our lives and exhausts our bodies here is hunger and dehydration, and it is the worst thing we face every day. Every morning, we wake up hoping to find free food to satisfy the hunger of our hungry children, as we cannot buy food such as fresh vegetables and fruits due to the high prices and the depletion of all our money, and we stand in long and arduous queues to get some gallons of water. We are still fighting for survival, but we only suffer for food and water. It takes away our hope, kills our ambitions, and deprives our children of their right to a normal childhood.

● Here we are talking about my mother's health condition.
My mother, who is 58, has a thyroid condition that requires a medication called Mercaptizol 20mg, which is not currently available. She also suffers from high blood pressure and also suffers from diabetes, which makes her health more fragile. These circumstances make every day an inevitable battle.

Finally, amidst the emotional pain and stress that war brings, it also brings unexpected financial burdens after the cost of living here in Gaza became the highest in the world. It finally prompted me to resort to this platform, humbly and lovingly seeking your help and support in lightening the burden of life on our hearts and to be able to buy some essentials such as food, medicine, clean water, a safe tent to protect us from the fluctuations of the climate, clothes, shoes, milk and diapers for our children.
I am so grateful to anyone who is able to help us and I pray that this suffering will end soon.
The campaign's goal (€25,000) will go towards:
**Covering the costs of providing my family with food and clean water, as these essentials are very expensive.
**Covering the children's needs by providing basic items such as clothes, milk, diapers, and safe care.
**Renovating the mini-market that used to support my family.
**Covering the costs of private education for our beautiful children so they don’t miss years of schooling.
**Purchasing a new tent to protect us from winter rains and harsh weather conditions.
**Covering the costs of my mother's treatment for chronic illnesses and thyroid problems.
