RIP Steve - Please help his 4 children
Donation protected
We are sad to share that Steve Pampanelli died unexpectedly on April 6 2023, of covid-related pneumonia. He was just 56 years old.
His 19-year-old daughter Sophie was with Steve when he collapsed at home.
All 4 of his children are devastated by the sudden loss of their father. Please help us help them heal and thrive.
Steve provided for Sophia, his 2 young sons Morris & Henri, their dog Layla, 2 rabbits; Hopscotch & Peter, and 3 cats; Yumyan Hammerpaw, Goose & Dumpling, and lizard Tuco, where they lived together in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle, Washington.
We are raising funds to support Steve's children, with our first goal being to create as much stability for them & their beloved pets as possible - covering the rent on their house, groceries, utilities, hospital & ambulance bills, a memorial service, etc. Steve had a recent surgery with an extended hospital stay & we haven't started to even figure out his debts from that or the total bills we will need to cover.
All the money raised goes to Steve’s eldest daughter Isabelle to help cover family expenses, which was agreed upon amongst his children and their mom.
Any amount you can give will be a huge help.
From the Pampanelli kids -
We can't think about the future right now, we are just doing our best to cope with this tragedy day to day.
Thank you for reading & sharing our story.
Isabelle (age 21): "I hope everyone who has lost a loved one to covid will share our story. My father got covid for the second time recently & 'recovered' but had pneumonia that turned deadly very fast. I am overwhelmed with the responsibilities I now have for my sister & 2 brothers."
Sophie (age 19): "I'm so glad that at least my brothers didn't see him being carried out to the ambulance. I just spoke to him and now I will have to get used to him being gone. We just got through his surgery recovery and I thought he was going to be ok."
Henri (age 15): Henri is planning on finding work right away to help the family. He is really concerned about how they will make ends meet & keep their pets.
Morris (age 9): "I miss my Papa!" - He is having the toughest time now & we are trying to get him a good therapist asap.
