My name is Johnniqua Charles, a single mother of three. I'm trying to raise funds because unfortunately, I had an electrical fire start in my kids' room, literally right under their bed, ruining 97 percent of everything in the room: beds, clothes, shoes, toys, bookshelf. It's even harder because my landlord has no insurance on my apartment, which makes our situation even more tight. The landlord is only focused on the room, not really on the stuff my kids lost, although the fire department has made me aware they have been to my apartment before I moved here for the same thing! It's so stressful this close to the holidays.
