Rest In Peace Tyriq! We miss you!

To many, his name was Carter Gavino; however, to family and close friends, his name was Tyriq Mosley-Smith. A loving friend, brother, uncle, grandson and most importantly, son! Tyriq was one of one. His love for God, faith, drive, determination and passion made him different than many people. A day before his 26th birthday, Tyriq life was taken from us, leaving many devastated. Tyriq was last seen by close friends enjoying himself at birthday gathering. He was surrounded by so much love and comfort, and he felt safe. Unfortunately, the night took a turn when he departed the event.

Tyriq was a strong individual. He was bendable, not breakable. He would always show up and be there for anybody that was in need. Tyriq would give you the shirt off his back. If he had $1 and you had $0. He would share his dollar with you so that you would both have $1. A person that had this heart, should have never left this earth this soon; however, we are not supposed to question God.

With only being 25 years old, Tyriq achieved so much. He uprooted his life in Philadelphia and moved to Atlanta, Georgia at just 20 years old. He created a name for himself (Carter Gavino) as a graphic designer and party promoter. This year looked very promising for him, he just started a new job, given the opportunity to produce graphics for a television network in Atlanta, Georgia. After, 4-5 years of living in Atlanta, he was finally getting his start in a career that he loved.

Tyriq, we love you and we are going to keep your name alive. Rest In Peace. You are so loved by so many people.
