Our journey to expanding all started with a rat named Luna. Luna was brought to me by the kind people who found her abandoned and left in a bucket with nothing but fish food to eat. After some time of creating a safe space for her she began showing interest in learning fun tricks for snacks and spending time with me. Luna was then chosen for the role on a very loved children’s show. This little life was tossed aside but when she was shown love and kindness she became a star!

I’m so excited for this next step in being able to provide a safe haven for animals in need. Ontario’s animal shelters are filled to the MAX. People can become desperate and dumping animals has become a culture that NEEDS to change. All life matters and should be respected.

I am asking today for financial help to be able to provide a safe space for these animals and help elevate stress on local shelters. I can’t do this alone but with even a small amount we can all help build something amazing, starting with our building! We are excited to be working with local grant programs to help get us off the ground but we need more help. Donations will go directly to helping secure our facility, as well as renovate enclosures.

Rescued for the Role is opening its doors for reptiles, amphibians, small animals, cats, dogs and birds very soon! All animals will receive around the clock care, proper housing and enter an extensive training program. Our dream is to provide animals for adoption that will STAY adopted and continue to be provided the best care.

Let’s build this together and make more opportunities for future animal stars!
