On October 18, 2026, our dear friend and fellow horseman, Scott Knight, tragically lost his life in a harness racing accident. He leaves behind his wife, Lindsay Knight, his sons, Logan and Jayden, and his stepchildren, Cole, Maci and Braylee, along with so many family members and friends who loved him.

Scott was the kind of person who would help anyone. He had such a good heart, and losing him so suddenly is heartbreaking for everyone who knew him.

As a driver and former trainer, Scott shared his life with the harness racing community. Over his driving career, he celebrated 1,448 wins and drove horses to more than $9.5 million in purse earnings. Beyond those accomplishments, he will be remembered most for his kindness and willingness to be there for others.

We have created this fundraiser to help Lindsay and the family with funeral expenses and the financial pressures that come with an unexpected loss. Our hope is to ease some of that burden so they can focus on being together and grieving Scott.
