Remembering Myshan Pettis, Devoted Dad
Donation protected
Myshan Terell Veasley Pettis died unexpectedly on July 6, 2025. At the age of 36 he suffered a massive heart attack. Myshan lived a great life and was on his way to even better things. He was a graduate of Rogers High School where he was a prominent football player. He graduated with his Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Toledo. He went on to coach football at Scott H.S. and at Rogers H.S. his alma mater. He served as a first responder for 11 years with the City of Toledo Fire Department. Myshan has two wonderful sons, Marshan aged 17 years and Micah aged 6 years. Myshan loved his boys and he loved being a dad. He attended most, if not all, of their special events and activities. He also loved spending time with all his family. He was always kind, pleasant and kept everyone laughing with his great sense of humor. His death was so unexpected, and no plans were made for such an event. We hope to commemorate with a Celebration of Life Service that is respectful and shows honor to him for the memory of his two sons and all those who loved him.
