Remembering Karla Hillen

While visiting Richmond Hill, Georgia, in November 2021, the life of Karla Hillen tragically ended. Family members are traveling from several parts of the country to attend a memorial service. To assist with travel expenses and costs associated with the service, this fund has been established to help the family.

Karla is survived by her husband, Jamie; her daughter, Julia (Chris) Cousineau and grandchildren, Connor and Elaina of Richmond Hill, GA; her son, Andrew Hillen (Johanna Phelps) and grandchildren, Seeley, Alma, and Eirene of Vancouver, WA. Karla is also survived by her mother and stepfather, Karleen and Lee Eberly; and brothers, John and Donald Reynolds. She was preceded in death by her brother, Reed; and father, John Reynolds.

Karla counseled thousands of families through the Richmond Hill Family Counseling Center and was open about having her own stresses and life challenges at times. She would be the first to encourage anyone to always seek help when needed.
