This is not my story. This is the story of a coworker and friend who lost their 23-year-old child. He was tragically struck by a police vehicle while he was crossing the street. Everyone that knows her has witnessed the sacrifice, love, and support that she has given, and to see this happen so suddenly and unexpectedly has us all wanting to step in to help her.

This has encouraged us to help her by relieving some of the burden and worry out of her routine so she can properly grieve with her family. She has been supportive, caring, and a friend to all of us, and this is a good opportunity to help repay some of the kindness.
