Help Rebuild Reed's Exhaust

Donation protected
Hello, my name is Whitney and I am opening this account on behalf of my Dad, Reed. If you haven't had the priviledge to meet my Dad, I am sorry to say you missed out on something truly great. He is one of the most caring and kind hearted people I have ever met. I will never forget the time he actually gave the coat off his back to a man in need, now those are the kind of people this world needs more of. Have you ever heard the saying 'when it rains, it pours' well those words are simply true when you describe the kind of luck that our family has had lately. On the night before Thanksgiving of this past year while playing with my son Dad had a seizure and had to be taken to a local hospital where he was diagnosed with low blood sugar. During the time after that visit he had several other tests in which they found out that his heart is only functioning at 40%. The first thing his doctors told him was "Reed you need to slow down".. And if you know my Dad then you know that's like telling a fish to stop swimming so much. My Dad has owned his business since 1984, which he opened with only $30.00 in his pocket, and if that isn't faith I don't know what is. His business (Reed's Exhaust) has had several ups and downs, it suffered a devastating fire in 1993, but he built it back, and recently (1-22-16) it sucummed to one of the strongest snow storms our town has ever seen which resulted in the collasping of the roof of his main building. The devastating part about this time was my Dad didn't have insurance on his building due to rates that were just to high to pay.  These past few weeks have been, not only stressful, but to see how disheartened my Dad is, is something I hope I never have to witness again. So I decided to open this account to help raise funds to restore the building to a workable state and help buffer some of the monthly bills until my Dad is able to work again. Even though this experience is one I wouldn't wish on anyone, it is a true blessing to see the amount of support that the community has showed thus far. I know I won't be able to thank all of you personally, but thank you for anything you are able to give, whether it's money or just a prayer for serenity thru the storm, I thank you, our family thanks you! As for my Dad I hope that we can step up and be his steadying rock throughout this time because no matter what he has always be ours. May God bless each and every one of you!
