Ken Matsunaga Eagle Scout Project: Making Masks

My name is Ken Matsunaga and I am currently 17 years old, working to achieve the rank of Eagle Scout. My final requirement for that rank is to create and complete a service project that benefits the community.
My plan is to make 1,000 masks in order to reduce the spread of COVID-19. I will donate these masks I create in my project through Mask-Match, an organization that matches masks with healthcare facilities and communities in need.
Why do I need funds? I need funds to help buy the materials and supplies needed to create these masks. Unfortunately, at this moment in time, the availability is limited and the cost of materials, supplies, and tools continues to go up every week. Hence, I feel a sense of urgency in getting this project off the ground right away.
All donations will go towards buying materials for the masks and anything left over will be donated to Mask-Match. Any amount from you will be much appreciated.
