Recovery After Their Family Truck & Belongings Destroyed

Dear friends, family, and compassionate supporters,

My name is Desiree, and I’m reaching out to ask for your help for my nephew Paul and niece Alyssa, who are facing an unimaginable setback. On Saturday, June 7, 2025, while celebrating their baby shower at EB Rains Park in Northglenn, Colorado, a Molotov cocktail was thrown into his truck, setting it on fire. This senseless act, reported by KDVR (https://kdvr.com/news/local/molotov-cocktail-thrown-at-car-in-northglenn-police/), turned a day of joy into one of loss.

Thankfully, no one was injured, and the fire was quickly extinguished by family and friends who were attending the baby shower. But the damage to their truck was severe. Tragically, the truck also held his children’s toys, car seats, and irreplaceable family valuables, all of which were destroyed. They did find and arrest the guy who preformed this senseless act. Paul will need to take time off work, to attend each court hearing.

We’re raising $10,000 to help cover the costs of repairing or replacing his truck, replacing the children’s car seats, toys, and cherished family items, and supporting his family during this time without work. Every dollar will help ease the financial strain and allow Paul and Alyssa to focus on rebuilding and caring for their growing family.
