Hello, my name is Ryan Grandjambe. Founder of Ubba’s Grub Hub Ltd.

As a young boy, I had one important job—keep the grub box full for our trips out on the land.

My great-grandfather, Ubba, raised me on the land, teaching me how to hunt, fish, and gather. Every trip, I packed the food that would sustain us. He showed me that food wasn’t just about survival—it was about connection. Connection to the land, to our people, and to the generations before us.

Today, that teaching has become my life’s mission. I am building Ubba’s Grub Hub Ltd., an Indigenous-led Food, Land & Energy Hub that will ensure northern communities have access to fresh, nutritious, and affordable food—grown by us, for us.

The Challenge: Food Insecurity in Northern Communities

Across the North, fresh food is hard to access. Grocery store prices are high, supply chains are unreliable, and families are forced to rely on expensive, imported food that lacks nutrition. This isn’t just about cost—it’s about sovereignty. Our people deserve control over our food, our land, and our future.

But we can’t wait for someone else to fix the problem. We have to build the solution ourselves.

The Solution: A Self-Sustaining Food System

At Ubba’s Grub Hub, we’re creating something revolutionary—a fully self-sustaining food system powered by Indigenous knowledge and cutting-edge technology.

How We’re Doing It:
