Hi everyone, my name is Dalasia, and I’m creating this GoFundMe for myself, my boyfriend Isaiah, and our beloved cat, King. Just 20 minutes into the New Year, our lives changed in an instant when a sudden house fire destroyed our home. In a matter of moments, everything we worked so hard for was either lost or damaged. We are incredibly grateful that we all made it out safely, but the shock and uncertainty of starting a new year this way has been overwhelming. King, our cat, thankfully survived the fire as well, but like us, he’s now adjusting to a new and unfamiliar environment.

As two young adults still learning how to navigate life, this situation has been incredibly difficult to process. We are now facing urgent costs for temporary housing, replacing essential clothing and personal items, food, daily necessities, transportation, and making sure King has everything he needs, including food, litter, and any veterinary care. Insurance will not cover everything, and the expenses are adding up quickly.
