Hello Everyone.

My name is Jack, I run a business called Wig Chapel and I need your help.

On Sunday 8th March, I lost my studio in the fire that shut down the centre of Glasgow. I have lost everything. All my wigs, my inventory of tools, my computer, everything is gone.

However, I intend to rebuild my studio and get back to doing what I love to do! Over the past 10 years of running this business I have faced set-backs and hardship and have recovered every time. I am a completely self taught artist and run this business on my own, I am not a stranger to finding creative solutions to impossible problems. Funnily enough I moved from London to Glasgow in 2022 to ease the financial strain of being a self employed artist in a capital city.

Undoubtedly this is the greatest challenge I have yet to face and I need your help. I am setting up this go fund me to help me cover the cost of finding a new studio, refunding clients, buying a new equipment and materials and a new stock of wigs.

If you have bought a wig from me in the past, or liked one of my posts on instagram or even just want to support a queer artist I would be eternally grateful for any help you can give me.
