Hi, my name is Mike, and I’m asking for your help to support the cat sanctuary at an Iberostar Hotel in Jamaica that was devastated by Hurricane Melissa.

The sanctuary was completely demolished during the storm. As a result, more than 60 cats are now living in a temporary location within the hotel grounds while efforts are underway to rebuild their safe space.

Although the hotel itself suffered significant damage and the sanctuary is not at the top of the rebuild priority list, I want to be clear: the hotel staff have done an incredible job caring for these cats under very difficult circumstances. Unfortunately, this temporary setup comes with serious challenges—especially limited access to supplies and medications on the island.

Tragically, three cats have already been lost due to complications from untreated UTIs, something that could have been prevented with proper medical supplies. This is heartbreaking, and it’s why I’m stepping in to help.

The goal of this fundraiser is to raise money for critical supplies, medications, and direct support for the sanctuary. I will be traveling to Jamaica on January 28, 2026, and every dollar raised will be donated directly to the sanctuary.

To ensure full transparency, photos and updates will be posted showing exactly where the donations go.

I understand that donating requires trust. I encourage you to check my social media—you’ll see that I’m fully committed to this cause and that every penny raised will be used exactly as promised.

These cats didn’t choose this situation, and right now they need us.

If you’re able to donate or share this fundraiser, you’re helping save lives.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness and support.
