HUNT FAMILY

Hi, my name is Mary Shannon, President of Truro Minor Football , Board Member with Football NS and

involved with CEC Cougars Football.

If anyone has and is involved in Football you know we are a tight family on and off the field. We always look out for our own.

We are looking for help in assisting one of our own the HUNT FAMILY

Walter and Kim Hunt and their three kids have been a big part of our Truro Minor Football family for many years . Both Cameron and Cody have played for TMFA and Cameron for CEC. Kaleigh their biggest cheerleader.

Just recently this single income family has fallen on hard times , Walter was laid off like many others a few months ago . Dealing with the daily struggles of trying to keep their head above water has been hard.

If this wasn't enough, a few days ago Walter who had not been feeling well went to the ER. After many tests it has been confirmed that Walter has been diagnosed with Cancer.

To say this was a gut punch of epic proportions to their family. Affecting their extended football family and friends as well. Our thoughts , prayers and love is here for them during this awful time .

We are starting this go fund me in hopes of generating some money to help with travel for whatever

treatments might be available , gas , food , rent , life etc .

This is a great family that have been dealt an difficult hand , let's get together and try to cushion the blow even if it's just a little bit . no donation is too small, we have the chance to make a difference .
