Hurricane Eta relief in Guatemala

Update!  We want to say a big heartfelt Thank You to all those who have donated in support of Guatemalan families, in what has been a challenging year for many.  We're so happy to be part of this generous and caring specialty coffee community.

Our hearts go out to all the people impacted by Hurricane Eta. We very grateful to report there are no injuries or loss of life within our direct network and family. Sadly, across the country of Guatemala more than 300,000 people have been impacted with more than 150 people presumed missing or dead. 

Particularly near and dear to us at Onyx Coffee is the town center of Agua Dulce, Huehuetenango where a mudslide destroyed homes of many pickers that help support surrounding farms. Our Guatemala based team plans to visit this area in the coming weeks to meet with Producers and be of assistance.

That being said, Habitat is not currently working in Agua Dulce and when our team visits we would like to purchase and deliver critical supplies.  Onyx will match the first $500.
