38th Annual Raza Graduation de UCI

Every year a group of students, majority seniors, get together to plan what is known as the Annual Raza Graduation Ceremony. This year, we are celebrating the 38th installment of this beautiful event.
The Raza Graduation Celebration is a student-run effort that provides the Chican@/Latin@ student community, many of which are first generation, with a more intimate graduation ceremony that acknowledges the accomplishment of receiving a degree from UCI. Raza Graduation Celebration recognizes the roles of family, culture, and community that have contributed to the achievements and successes of Latin@s at UC Irvine. Everything is spoken in both English and Spanish and students walking are given the opportunity to give a few words on stage.
Over the years, the celebration has grown as a result of the increase in graduating Chican@/Latin@ students. We invite you to join us in celebrating the achievements and resilience of our community. Your support will contribute to the cost of the venue, equipment, performances, and food. Any monetary or in-kind donation towards these expenses is greatly appreciated.
