Ray O'Connor

It is with great sadness that we are setting up this page. Ray O'Connor, a great colleague and friend to many of us here at ANZ Bank, sadly passed away recently. We are all deeply shocked and saddened by his unexpected passing and many of us are still struggling to come to terms with it.

Ray leaves behind his wife Angela, and his beautiful seven month old daughter Orla. Ray's parents, along with Angela now have the unthinkable task of arranging Ray's funeral. Something no parent should ever have to do.

Being in such an unexpected situation, many of you have asked for how you can send flowers, send your condolences to the family or even provide financial support, to help them during this difficult time.

So that Orla gets help for later in her life, this page has been set up to raise money for her Junior ISA (for those not in the UK, a Junior ISA allows you to save up to £9,000 a year for your child in a tax efficient way).

Any funds raised in addition to this, taking into account any money already held in a Junior ISA for her, will go towards supporting Ray's family and the unexpected financial costs of this terrible situation.

Any donations, no matter how large or small, will be greatly received in helping us give Ray the send off he truly deserves.
