Rathcline GAA Senior, Minor and Ladies clubs are preparing to start Phase 3 of its development plan at its club grounds in Clonbony, Lanesborough, Co Longford, to be completed by October 2020.

This phase involves the development of additional 1.5 acres of club owned lands into a playing/training area for our underage players, both male and female.
This project involves the landscaping and drainage of this currently unused area, erection of a kicking wall for children to practice skills and perimeter fencing on the site.
The project also involves the erection of floodlighting and drainage on the existing club practice pitch which is used by all playing members.

To help fund this project, the club's pitch development committee is organizing a sponsored cycle along the Royal Canal Greenway on Saturday 12th September. The sponsored cycle is named "Saddle Up for Rathcline". A similar event in 2019 successfully raised monies to purchase and erect an electronic scoreboard for Clonbony pitch. The cycle this year will mark the opening of a new cycle route which links Lanesborough to the Royal Canal Greenway at Kilashee, making it possible to cycle from Lanesborough to Dublin on this Greenway, passing by the gates of Clonbony GAA grounds.

We would be very grateful if you could consider a donation to this project which will help the club to develop improved playing/training/coaching facilities for our growing numbers of underage players. We aim to complete Phase 3 Development by October 2020.

Your generosity will be greatly appreciated by our club and our local community.
