Andy Eiken Funeral Expenses

Donation protected

I am deeply saddened to announce the passing of Andy on April 5, 2025. He fought vigilantly in his cancer battle, but unfortunately there were other plans for him. Now his loving wife Tracy and his children must pick up the pieces and plan his funeral.

Please donate and/or share! They need your help more than anything now!

We are all heartbroken and will miss Andy so much, especially his witty comebacks!! RIP buddy!

Andy is a loving husband of 36 years to Tracy. Together they have 5 children ranging in age from 17 to 34 years old. In August of 2023 Andy was diagnosed with metastatic melanoma to the brain . He underwent brain surgery in September 2023 where a ping-pong ball sized tumor was removed. He recovered well from the surgery. He then received radiation to the brain followed by an immunotherapy infusion monthly for a year. The infusion drug made him extremely fatigued, but he went back to work. Then in October 2024 he suddenly had slurring of his speech with headaches and confusion. An MRI showed a new growth in the brain and a lot of swelling. After multiple MRIs and CTs, his neurosurgeon felt this was radiation necrosis from his prior radiation treatment, and that surgery was again the only option. In November 2024 he had a seizure in the car on the way to his second brain surgery. He was taken by ambulance to the hospital and had a second seizure in the ambulance. They were still able to do the surgery. Since this time, he has been on very high-dose steroids. He has been having MRIs and CTs every 2-3 months. He has struggled with being able to sleep resulting in constant fatigue. In February the fatigue became severe. His oncologist and neurosurgeon decided to try a new infusion. He was to have one every three weeks for a total of four. Two weeks after the infusion, Andy suffered from another seizure. He was taken by ambulance to the hospital where it was discovered that he had also had a small stroke. He was in the hospital for 12 days. This family has been through a lot and has significant medical bills and only partial wages from Andy’s short-term disability. His health has prevented him from going back to work since surgery with no foreseeable date to return at this time, and Tracy has had to take some time from work to take care of Andy and get him to his appointments. Any help would be very much appreciated!
