Hello everyone, I'm Allegria, Mercedes's sister, and I'm organizing this fundraiser because she urgently needs assistance.

Mercedes, my precious sister, lives with severe, intractable chronic pain due to Stage 4 Lung Cancer that has spread to the liver and vertebrae. Despite this bleak reality, she is a fighter who will persevere with our support.

Mercedes has lost her health, job, and basic daily necessities. Without our help, she'll soon lose her housing and any sense of security, which will only add to her daily physical suffering. She requires ongoing treatment and regular visits to pain medicine specialists, which aren't all covered in Canada.

Therefore, she simply needs financial assistance to attain a decent quality of life, and to enable her to cover her medical and living expenses.

Mercedes is a highly educated and professionally accomplished woman who dedicated her life to caregiving. She has cared for our father for over a decade until his passing last year, and our mother until her recent passing.

We must alleviate her suffering and stress, a goal that I believe we can achieve together.
