Midwives off to Tanzania ... Again!

Hi. A group of us midwives went to volunteer at a busy maternity hospital in Arusha, Tanzania last year. We were able to witness the challenges the hospital faced and thanks to many of you, we raised enough funds to donate a much needed obstetric ultrasound machine for the labour ward. It is used daily and the medical and midwifery team are very grateful for the donation.

Now we wish to return there next year, 2025 to teach (mainly in obstetric emergencies) and donate other much needed equipment. The medical equipment that is there is either outdated or broken.

We humbly ask for donations again to enable us to raise more funds to buy and send new equipment to help improve outcomes for the mothers and babies in Tanzania.
