My name is Wes ‘H’ Hennessey CSM, the Director of Seven Horses Co. I learnt of the inspirational disabled (Cerebral Palsy) athlete Waryk Holmes approximately a year a go and went and visited his family in Bathurst. His family have endured some very hard times and after learning their story a supportive friendship organically grew.

Waryk is recognised through Athletics Australia as an ‘Emerging Athlete’ and has represented at both State and National level.

It was recently brought to my attention that he has outgrown his current chair, which is dated and secondhand. Waryk requires a new custom chair to continue his training and competition regime. The 100m and 800m events are his current focus as they are Paralympic events.

These style of chairs are only custom made to order with the athletes specifications. The cost is approximately $7000. We are raising $10000 to help cover other training and competition associated costs.

Waryk has his eyes set on some very major events in the future, of note; World Para Athletics Championships in Kobe, Japan 2022 and the Paralympics in Paris, France 2024.
