Liver Transplant Costs for Lynn Dearey
Donation protected
My wife, Lynn, has been suffering and fighting Wilson's Liver disease for over 20 years. The disease is a rare genetic disorder characterized by excess copper stored in body tissues, the liver, brain, and corneas of the eyes. In Lynn's case, her liver has been attacked for two decades.
Lynn has lost the ability to live a normal life; spending her days laying on the coach or the bed in constant pain from leg and gut bloating, severe cramping, fatigue, nausea, etc.
She lost her job that she loves last fall (due to the disease) and is restrained to the house unable to drive anymore.
Lynn NEEDS A LIVER TRANSPLANT and was recently placed on the "Liver Transplant List" at a Colorado Hospital, where she is living right now.
I am not one to ask for financial assistance, but upon the request of my wife and advice of others in the medical community, we need help. Apparently, the Hospital costs for a liver transplant can be as high as $500,000, and the hidden expenses like monthly anti-rejection medication for a new liver, re-occurring hospital and doctor copays, ongoing transportation to Denver, etc, etc can add up very quickly.
The medical bills are mounting for the various procedures Lynn has endured since August of 2019.
Whatever you can do will be greatly appreciated! May God bless you for your assistance.
Please pray that we find a suitable liver donor. My wife and two children want their Mommy back in our house making us laugh once again.
