Mexico Mission Trip 2015

Hi everyone!
As many of you know, Ben takes some of the students from Radiate Student Ministries (the youth we pastor) on a mission trip every year. These trips have always been an amazing time of ministry. It has been especially rewarding to see the personal growth in our youth. Their comfort zones are stretched and their faith is strengthened in ways that are life-changing. We have always been very thankful to be able to coordinate and lead these trips.
This year the team - 18 in total - will be travelling to Roca Blanca Missions Base in Oaxaca, Mexico from June 23 to July 7. We will be involved in outreach ministry and in supporting the work that the base has been doing in that area for many years. Specifically, we hope to run a sports camp, put on a VBS, help with medical outreach, and do some work projects around the base. We are SO excited to join this ministry for a couple of weeks, and to grow in our understanding of God's heart for the whole world. It's going to be fantastic!
I (Hannah) am personally extra excited because this year I will be joining the youth team! It's been many years since I've been able to travel internationally with Ben and the youth. You know... children and all. :-)
Not only will I be joining the team, but so will Cooper (8), Sage (5) and Wesley (2)! We believe that a family dynamic will add to the team and will increase the fruitfulness of ministry there. The kids are really excited to help out and meet lots of kids. We know there will be challenging moments travelling with 3 kids, but we think it will be very worthwhile. Cooper is the least shy person I know and will have no problem at all connecting with the other kids, Sage is compassionate and caring, and Wesley just charms everybody. They are all unique and we are believing the Lord will use them.
Ben will be leading the team and I will be acting as a leader and support person as well as a translator when I'm able.
This type of trip costs quite a lot, and while we have been able to send Ben for the last few years without too much active fundraising, getting ready to send 5 of us is a different story.
The total trip cost per person is $1,500. That includes airfare, food, in-country travel, and traveler's health insurance. That adds up to $7,500 for our family.
Would you consider supporting us financially and in prayer? We really do need and deeply appreciate everyone who is able to donate. This isn't possible without you!
As you pray for us, please pray first of all for effective ministry. We want the Lord to use us in very real ways while we're there. Pray for health for us and for the team, and for grace as we travel. Pray especially for me as I translate... I'm VERY rusty after so many years!
