Figurehead of our little family
was diagnosed with late cancer last night
it has progressed rapidly
We are realistic that he is a big boy and an old man
We are reaching out not to extend his life beyond comfort but to make his life as comfortable as possible while he remains by our sides
In order to accomplish this- in the least invasive way possible
it will cost about 400$ a week
We will gratefully take any days we have left with him but are hoping to fund 8 weeks
For those of you who know and love our giant
this may seem tacky but whatever- we are humbled by our love for him
and will look tacky if that means having the ability to keep him around- even if only for one more day
