The Nelson family-medical and financial assistance

Donation protected
Hi! Jen here. I’m raising funds for my friend Sarah & her family. Sarah, my friend, is a kind and strong woman. Even the strongest of us need a hand at times.

16 years ago Charlie became disabled and was no longer capable of working.  Sarah had a new baby and a preschooler.  They went through years of legal and medical battles before Charlie was finally approved for disability.  It covers a fraction of bills & living expenses.

Sarah clawed her way out of this situation, earned a bachelors, then a master’s degree in business, all while working full time and doing the lion’s share of planning and implementing homeschool for their girls.

Sarah started getting very ill July 2021 & has progressively been in decline since.
Sarah’s physical situation has deteriorated to the point that she was no longer able to work.  Also, she suffers from severe weakness and fatigue to the point of inability to stand or even sit up most of the time.  She is currently diagnosed with Post COVID Syndrome.  She is undergoing testing to determine a more definitive diagnosis.  Her situations most resembles ME/CFS, also known as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.

As the sole breadwinner of the family this is devastating.
She’s waiting for some kind of response about disability. It won’t be what she made working but it’s where the family is . Until that is approved the situation is bad.
Please give, whatever you are able, to this amazing family.
Sarah is a giving, loving human. I’d like to help give a little back to her.
