Hi. My name is Donna and I have got tongue cancer. Today will be my 3rd op to try and rebuild a flap. I wasn’t not aware of this type of cancer and if for one minute I thought it could have been I would got treatment sooner. I thought it was mouth ulcers but it wasn’t. I am praying the op works today and then I can start my long recovery. But when I am better I will be doing a local swim of 50 lengths of my local pool . Which will be tough but f I can get through this I can do anything. People just need to be aware of this nasty disease. I lost a lot of weight because of it and my speech has gone at the moment but it should come back. So everyone please give genuorously
