Praying for Pam Little
Pam was traveling recently on a long awaited trip and became very ill while
traveling. She started her road trip with family on September 19 and was
planning on visiting several different states. Pam has battled cancer
(which is currently in remission) and liver disease but with some medication
changes she was looking forward to her trip. She didn't feel well from the
beginning but didn't want to miss out on her trip. On September 29 while in
Charleston, South Carolina she started running a fever so the family made a
decision to take her to the hospital where she was diagnosed with pneumonia.
She was admitted into the ICU because she was having trouble breathing and wasput on high flow oxygen. She was in ICU from September 29 until October 5 and
then was moved to a regular room because she was doing some better until
Friday October 9th when her condition started to deteriorate again and as of
today October 12th, she is back in ICU. She isn't eating or drinking and has
stopped responding to most things. Before she was put back in ICU the family
thought she may get to return home to a hospital in Burnet Texas through a
possible Flight for Life ride. Her family is all in Texas and needs her
to be able to return closer to home so that she can get the help she needs and she
can feel the love and support of her family.
The cost of the Flight for Life is expensive and insurance will not cover the cost.
The estimated price just for the Flight for Life is 15,000. She has also incurred
medical expenses while being in the hospital and travel for her husband and
children to be with her during this time. Pam has many friends and family who
love her and want to see her get home to her children and grandchildren and as
you can tell by the picture she has many grandchildren who need their Noni
home. No amount is too small, anything to help us get her home is so appreciated.
