Kyler’s Fight: A Journey Toward Healing

Just a few days ago, our world was turned upside down.

My sweet, energetic, funny 9-year-old son Kyler — who loves video games, pizza, and making everyone laugh — was diagnosed with Burkitt’s Lymphoma, a rare and aggressive form of cancer. One moment he was running around the yard with his cousins, and the next we were sitting in a hospital room trying to process words no parent ever wants to hear.

Since then, everything has moved fast — blood tests, scans, and countless sleepless nights. Now, we’re preparing for his biggest battle yet. Kyler starts chemotherapy tomorrow 6-16-2025

As terrifying as this journey is, we are choosing hope. We are choosing to believe in healing, in miracles, and in the strength that Kyler has already shown us in these few short days. He is a warrior, smiling even when he’s scared, and comforting us when we should be comforting him.

Our family is doing everything we can to fight alongside Kyler — emotionally, physically, and financially. But the truth is, this fight is bigger than us. The bills, travel costs, time off work, and unexpected expenses are quickly piling up.
